How To Draw A Man
By Loston Wallace
This overlay will give you some pointers on how to draw a man from the front view. The original art is on the right, and as you can see, there have been several changes. The shoulders have been better defined, as well as the biceps and triceps. The top of the pecs have been drawn in to make the character look more powerful. Notice the linework showing the connection of the chest to the shoulders. Also, the lats have been drawn on the side to give the character a powerful V-taper. The right leg has been redrawn with more muscle, as the old one looked a little too thin and flat.
