How To Draw 3D Shapes
This tutorial will teach you how to draw 3d shapes. Begin by drawing a line across your paper. This is the horizon.
Next, draw a dot anywhere on your horizon. When we look at something, it appears to get smaller the farther away it is, until it vanishes. You'll see why this is called the vanishing point in a minute.
Now draw a rectangle. Draw it carefully so the top and bottom are parallel with the horizon, and the sides are parallel with the sides of your paper.
Connect each corner of your rectangle to the vanishing point.
Draw a second rectangle, and congratulations, you're done! You've just made a 3d box!
Now play around a little, and try making more boxes. Change the length and width of your rectangle, and make your boxes above and below the horizon. Experiment and have fun!
